The HVAC Troubleshooter app is designed to take a technician step-by-step through the process of diagnosing problems or faults with an air conditioning unit. By answering a series of “yes”/”no” questions a technician is taken through a decision making tree that systematically trains the technician how to diagnose a faulty system. Through the process of elimination, the HVAC technician rapidly arrives at the source of the problem and is able to quickly assess the required repair(s) to the unit.
This app was designed with input from some of the best technicians in the field, and in essence replicates their thought process and problem solving approach when diagnosing a unit.
This application works for both split systems and package units. It is an excellent tool for students, building engineers, new technicians, and technicians with moderate experience in the field.
